A native of D.C., John is a second-generation real estate developer and began his career in 1996 working in customer service for IDI Group's Carlyle Towers project in Alexandria, VA.

In 2000, John moved to Leisure World of Virginia in Landsdowne as Assistant Project Manager. Seven years later, John was named Vice President and project manager of IDI's Hunting Terrace project in Alexandria, VA.

In 2008, John launched the luxury home building division of IDI Group, IDI Residential. John takes a very hands-on approach, overseeing every aspect of IDI Residential's project development from start to finish.

John attended The Potomac School in McLean, VA, and graduated from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, with degrees in Economics and Latin American Studies with a minor in Art. As founder and chairman of The Trust for the National Mall's L'Enfant Society in 2008-9, John launched the Ball on the Mall event. Most Recently, John oversaw the design and development of the Rose Park Phase 2 Improvement Project in Georgetown.

With more than 20 years of experience in commercial and residential development, Mike began his professional career in construction, learning various trades and aspects of project management from the ground up.

Mike joined IDI Group in 1995. Working in a variety of departments and positions, Mike began his career with IDI working in the development of condominiums at Leisure World of Maryland. While serving as Customer Service Manager, IDI was awarded #1 in customer satisfaction and service in the Washington-Baltimore area by J.D. Power and Associates.

Mike was transferred to Leisure World of Virginia and promoted to Assistant Project Manager/Vice President in 2005. IDI's Leisure World projects include 14 high-rises, 11 low-rises, and 1 community clubhouse--totaling more than 3 million square feet of gross real property valued at over $350 million. In 2011, John Cecchi chose Mike to join his team at IDI Residential.

Mike was born and raised in Washington, D.C., and graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Computer Science. He is a Certified Green professional member of the National Association of Home Builders.

Mike and his wife currently reside with their two daughters in Silver Spring, Maryland
